Actor Jeremy Piven has been the center of sexual assault allegations since October 30, 2017, when actress Ariane Bellamar accused him of groping her on two separate occasions. Since then, two other women have also accused him of sexual assault. Piven has vehemently denied the allegations, and on November 13, 2017, he took a polygraph test to prove his innocence.

The report, which was obtained by The Blast, showed that Piven passed the polygraph test. The test was administered by a member of the American Polygraph Association with Chapman Investigations. The report was designed to determine if Piven had ever “grabbed” or touched Ariane Bellamar, without consent or otherwise, on the buttocks and/or breast area, while on the set of “Entourage” and/or at the Playboy Mansion, approximately five years ago.

The lie detector test was comprised of direct questions. One of the direct questions asked during the polygraph test was whether Piven had ever touched or fondled Ariane Bellamar’s breasts without her consent. Piven answered “no” to that question. He was also asked if Ariane had ever gone into his trailer on the set of “Entourage,” and he said she had not.

The examiner’s analysis and professional opinion concluded that Piven showed no reactions indicative of deception to any of the relevant questions. The report also stated that Piven passed all of his questions.

After the accusations from Ariane Bellamar, Piven denied the allegations and said, “It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn’t happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard.” He reiterated his innocence a few days later and said, “We seem to be entering dark times — allegations are being printed as facts and lives are being put in jeopardy without a hearing, due process or evidence. I hope we can give people the benefit of a doubt before we rush to judgment.”

Piven has been in the entertainment industry for over three decades and has won multiple awards for his performances. He is best known for his role as Ari Gold in the hit television series “Entourage.” The accusations against him have tarnished his reputation, but the polygraph test results may help him clear his name.

Polygraph tests are not admissible in court, but they can be used to bolster a person’s credibility or help clear their name. It remains to be seen if the results of the polygraph test will have any impact on the accusations against Piven, but it is clear that he is determined to prove his innocence.

The #MeToo movement has brought attention to sexual harassment and assault in the entertainment industry, and many powerful men have been accused of misconduct. It is important to give victims a voice and hold perpetrators accountable, but it is also important to ensure that due process is followed and innocent people are not falsely accused. The Jeremy Piven case is a reminder that the truth should always be sought, and justice should be served fairly.
