A variation of the screening version of the Air Force Modified General Question Test (AFMGQT). It was designed to fill a requirement for a screening method that allowed testing of only one issue. The two differences between the standard screening AFMGQT and the BOST is that in the latter the two relevant questions cover identical behaviors and time periods and that the decision rules include the grand total score of both questions.
