Use this form to make a formal complaint that a BPS member has breached the Code of Ethics, the Standards of Practice, or another binding policy of the Society.
The Society has no statutory or regulatory power. Sanctions are limited to those set out in the Procedure (the most severe being expulsion from membership).
You should normally complain within twelve months of the conduct complained of (paragraph 3.2).
Nothing in the Society's procedures displaces your right to pursue a legal remedy in the courts or to complain to any statutory body.
If you have evidence (correspondence, reports, recordings), submit the form first and then reply to the acknowledgement email with attachments, quoting your reference.
